Sarah Marian Seltzer is a freelance journalist and book critic in New York City.
Her reporting and commentary has appeared in publications including the LA Times, BITCH magazine, Publishers Weekly, Venus Zine, The Huffington Post and New York Press as well as local media mainstays New York Family Magazine and the West Side Spirit. Sarah also helped develop the prototype for aggregator wesbite newser.com, and interned at online news source Women's eNews.
After graduating college, she spent a
full year teaching public high school in the Bronx. She continues to work with high school students in the city.
At Harvard she majored in English, wrote a creative thesis, and worked at the campus paper, at whose offices she met her boyfriend, now on the music staff of a major entertainment magazine.Sarah is an aspiring fiction writer in her spare time, and she lurks around the blogosphere as fellow-ette. Her fabulous twin brother and parents are all part of or soon to be part of the legal profession.
