Sarah Marian Seltzer is a freelance journalist and book critic in New York City.
Her reporting and commentary have appeared in publications including The LA Times, Publishers Weekly, Alternet, The Daily Beast The Huffington Post, and NPR, and on the websites of The Christian Science Monitor, The Nation, The Wall Street Journal, and Mother Jones. Sarah's work has also been published in feminist zines BITCH magazine and Venus Zine and local media mainstays New York Family Magazine and The West Side Spirit.

Sarah has been quoted in stories for The Boston Globe and The Washington Post. She currently writes a weekly column on gender and pop culture for Rhrealitycheck.com and is a regular blogger for TheForward.com. She is a former intern at award-winning site Women's eNews.
After graduating with honors from Harvard, she spent a full year teaching public high school in the Bronx. She continues to work with high school students in the city. In her spare time, Sarah is working on her first novel. | |
